People Search uses one credit for each person search. Before you begin your search, here are some helpful tips and tricks:

1. Gather as much contact information as possible about the person you're searching for. Whether it's an old or new piece of information like a phone number, email, or address—even if it hasn’t been used in over 30 years—use it! (You might not receive old information in referrals, so be sure to ask.)

2. When you search for a person using People Search credits, you won't be charged until you click "Next" on the initial search page.

3. Searching for one person can often reveal the names of several family members and connections.

4. You can narrow down your search using the "Other Relationship" option, which is unique and differentiates us from other search sites.

5. If you receive results with multiple names, you can hover over them to preview the contact information. At this stage, you can note the details without incurring an additional search charge. However, if you click on a name, you will be charged for another search credit.

6. Once you find someone with contact information, and hopefully a list of relatives and connections, you can reach out to that person. You can also explore the other names that appeared in your search to see if they can provide more contact information.

All of this and more can be explored during what we call a hands-on training session. (Use link to register)
